The Pago Pago Game Fishing Association (PPGFA) is an active association of boat captains, owners and avid anglers. With several tournaments throughout the year, the PPGFA plays an active part in promoting game fishing in the Territory of American Samoa and our surrounding waters.

The PPGFA's crowning tournament is known as the "I'a Lapo'a" or Big Fish Tournament. Aside from holding tournaments, the PPGFA also maintains a rolling board at the Pago Pago Yacht Club, which is reset annually.
